Turkish Prime Minister Tayipp Erdogan visits Spain

Little did we know that our Debate on Turkey coincided with the visit of the Turkish prime minister Tayipp Erdogan to Spain. Serendipity my dear students. In Madrid both Erdogan and Zapatero spoke about their "Alliance of Civilizations" project which was adopted by the United Nations and about Turkish and Spanish / EU relations.
